77 million Americans voted for Trump in 2024.
340 million = Total US population in 2024.
262 million = Voting age population of the US (2023).

% of American citizens who voted for Trump: 77÷340 < 23%.
% of voting age Americans who voted for Trump: 77÷262 < 30%.
In the 2024 presidential election,
73.6% (174 million people) of citizen voting-age population registered to vote,
65.3% (154 million people) voted.

% of voting age Americans registered to vote who voted for Trump: 77÷174 < 45%.
% of voting Americans who voted for Trump: 77÷154 = 50%.
Looks like the US of A has a somewhat sick form of democracy; one might call it gerrymanderocracy, in which a minority and an aspiring tyrant king currently (2026) rule.
