    • Oct 2018: East Bay Community Energy (EBCE) is offering different levels of service as you may see on these EBC E webpages: Opt Up (Renewable 100; Green-e Energy certified) and Opt Down (Bright Choice or Brilliant 100). The forms require 3 pieces of info: PG&E account number, last name or business name, zip. See also the cost comparison chart. There is an alternative that is to "Opt Out" and elect not to receive cleaner electricity. at EBCE low rates, but rather to remain a direct customer of PG&E.

    • Kyoto USA - assists California school districts reduce their energy consumption and to install renewable energy systems. Also promotes Community Choice Aggregation programs that allow local governments to procure electricity on behalf of businesses and residents.

    • Rising Sun Energy Center - Founded in 1994 as a renewable energy education center, provides green training, employment, and residential efficiency evaluations. Headquartered in Berkeley, serves Northern California.

  • Hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (EVs) are relatively environmentally benign as long as they're not using fossil-fuel derived hydrogen. See California Fuel Cell Partnership (https://cafcp.org/)
